The Exe Trail is a Cycle Path and Walkway that travels twists it’s way hugging alongside the beautiful Exe Estuary. Vibrant Pulse has been running the unofficial Exe Trail website for 3 years now with a great amount of interest. We have seen the popularity of the trail explode along with the growing popularity of the website which dominates the search engines.

We have been working hard over the last few months to ensure that the content of the Exe Trail website is up-to-date and accurate ready for the summer season, updating the previous website before we launched the new version. Today, see’s the launch of the new website which has been worked on by our Trainee website designer, Simon from Exmouth.

The new site contains a new map system which allows users to explore the trail itself and find out all the information on each stop along the way.

We are selling advertising on the site to business owners along the route. Businesses owners who would like online advertising on the Exe Trail website should contact Vibrant Pulse.

This version of the trail itself is only the first stage of the redesign which will continue to have improvements made to features and pages over the coming weeks.

Other projects include working for the Eden Project’s Sessions filming artists like Paolo Nutini, Doves, Mumford and Sons, Mika and Jack Johnson.

DPM Teamwear are a local, Exmouth based company who offer T Shirt printing and custom clothing. They came to Vibrant Pulse from a initial contact from another client we are doing some work for.

The issues of the old website were raised with us and as a result, a full analytical study was performed, the result of which was a new website to help further the already growing business.

The emphasis of the website is to make a initial first impressiona s to what DPM do – Custom Clothing. The second was to help drive enquires and new leads along with acting as a referance point for exisiting customers with the online catalogue.

With photography, SEO, web design and hosting now provided by the Vibrant Pulse team, we are very happy with the result and will continue to work with DPM to help manage the website.

The website is a combination of JS, HTML, CSS and PHP.

Vibrant Pulse run a range of different  community websites under the name of East Devon Online. The aim of which is to help keep the local community up-to-date with the latest goings on and also to advertise the local area to people further away.

Further our commitment to these sites and the local community, we are now undergoing website improvements works on our Exe Trail website which helps promote the Exmouth Cycle Path that will eventually run to Dawlish.

The first stages of the works our now being carried out updating the content on the site, the second stage to the look and feel of the site will start very soon where advertising will be available for local business owners alongside the route.

Thursday of this week saw a busy and very long day for Exmouth Photographer, Daniel Smith from Vibrant Pulse. Up at 3am for a photoshoot in London at a concept store of M&S and finished past 8:00pm with a photoshoot for Jenny Harvey who was the prize winner from our free raffle at the Devon County Show.

The prize was for a free photoshoot with Daniel Smith, a free photographic print and frame by Copyrite Print in Exmouth.

The shoot went really well and there were several photographs choosen by Jenny but the image choosen for the purpose of the shoot, was the one on this page of the 5 children.

The final photograph will be given to Grandma Harvey for a birthday present and we hope that she will like it as much as Jenny, Sister Kathy and the children.

A very big well done on the winning ticket!

Vibrant Pulse are very happy at the moment as we have just had 2 of our photographs of Exmouth published in the Devon Life magazine.

We were asked by the Chamber of Trade and Commerce, as the official photographer for Exmouth, to take some photographs of the Sand Sculpture competition on Exmouth beach which was part of the Exmouth Festival, these photographs were then sent to the Devon Life magazine to which 2 were choosen for publication.

They are used as part of a great article describing Exmouth and what there is to do in the town. You can get your copy in your local newsagent.

It is time to put your sunglasses on to see this website which sells starter packs to university students. The packs contain all the essentials for the kitchen, bedrooma nd bathroom in a easy, no hassle, 1 purchase item shipped to your door. Set up by Caterlink, this website is the first of a few jobs we are completing for them.

With the origional brief for a expensive eCommerce website, we built a lower cost site with payment controlled by outside processing by PayPal. The advantage of this being a faster construction and lower cost for a starter project.

The look of the website is continuing a branding concept for the company and combining it with a easy to use website.

Hosted on our own web hosting servers based in Reading and combining product photography, this website is a driving force behind the student uni pack and is acting as a link between ALL the different methods of advertising being undertaken.

We look forward to the next stage of work with Caterlink with this project.

From a recommendation to Vibrant Pulse Web Design, Robin from Littleham Osteopathic Clinic approached us for a new website to work with the branding design already carried out for them for the new site Ottery Osteopathy.

Treating Back and Neck Pains, Sports Injuries, Joint and Muscle Pain, Foot Pain, Biomechanical Assesments and Othotics, Robin wanted a new website to promote his work in Ottery St Mary.

The brief was for a new website to which worked with the new branding, simple to use and was updateable whilst easy to find in the search engines for the correct terms.

The resulting website has now been created for him, simple, clean, working with the branding by Greenland Studios and updateable by Robin as and when needed. We will now be working closely with Robin to make sure it appears in the correct places in the Search Engines.

Now this is something that will be of interest to you all, some for the reason of the equipment used, some for the video itself, others for both!

The video is a promotional documentary for the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail which runs from Exmouth to Starcross, filmed in partnership for Exmouth Town Management, Exmouth Cycle Hire and our own Exe Trail website.

The video shows the story of a cyclist who goes out for the day to explore the local area, discovering all the things along the Exe Trail Cycle path.

It was filmed with our very own Canon 5D MKii which, suprisingly, is a still Digital SLR camera that has rocked the world of film massivly since it’s launch.
