‘Finglorious’ series – 2009
‘Having lived in Exmouth, in South Devon for several years I have been coming across phenomena and objects along the beach, estuary, and riverside. These are usually natural forms, and often tiny. Through their take-up of colour these finds can reveal surprising shapes, textures and patterns . The images are about chance, and a single rainbow moment near the end of their story.’
Stains and dyes, pens, paints, digital photography, and a photographic enhancement program.

Each is lovingly hand drawn in Illustrator from my original photos. I love the way that, as vector graphics, you can scale them up until they become abstract.
